Ear training app for singers
Most ear-training apps were built for instrumentalists. You hear an interval, you click a button to identify it. That's fine for pianists, but singers need a different feedback loop: hear the interval, sing it back, find out if you sang it correctly.
SightSing's interval trainer plays a starting pitch, names a target interval, and waits for you to sing the target. The app reads your pitch and shows you exactly how close (or far) you were.
This is the singer-specific feedback loop: produce the note, get judged on production accuracy, internalize the muscle memory.
Pair the interval trainer with the rhythm trainer (clap rhythms with mic onset detection) and the sight-singing trainer to cover all three pillars of aural skills.
